Stress and spirituality

Stress happens to all, and in every age. For instance, earlier people used to be stressed about marriage of their children, and would start preparing for the wedding, making the trousseau, years ahead of the event. However, today man wants instant technique to help us deal with stress. And many have started looking at spirituality for answers. Unfortunately they do not know the true meaning of spirituality. Would Mahatma Gandhi have created a freedom movement if he was not stressed about the situation of his people. And to deal with his stress, he started working on creating a mass movement. Today, the form of stress has changed, and people have started looking for instant formulas of dealing with stress; instead of thinking of how to go ahead with stress and grow.
Spirituality means knowing yourself – your body, mind and soul.
If you feel stressed physically, monitor your diet, your exercise routine; for mental stress, calm your mind as too many thoughts in your mind are creating a havoc with your system. You can never be stressed from work. Sky is the limit for human capacity. God never gives you anything that is beyond human capacity. Only you feed your body computer with wrong thoughts and hence your body behaves accordingly.
Everything happening to you is not stress. Sometimes it is deficiency of some vitamins in the body. So stress is just a way to telling your body that you need to pay more attention to your body mind and soul. So instead of going to the root cause, you try to treat the leaves.
