What is true freedom? In the universe, where everything is pre-ordained, your path to evolution is set, does man really have a choice or freewill?
You have a choice
Yes, you do have liberty to hurry the process of evolution or delay it. You have that choice -- freewill. Lead a life of ignorance or work towards enlightenment, take up the path of religion or spirituality to do so. Lead life by being slave of your mind or be in surrender to what God has given you, meaning doing every assigned work that comes your way with ‘tan mann and dhan’, deriving wisdom from each experience and by being conscious that you choose that which gives you joy of growing.
Universal consciousness is one. Man has more consciousness than an animal. Man is tuned by God for evolution, you can enhance your growth through right use of free will. You can choose to follow the path of true, love and karm or choose tamasic interia, it is your free will.
Mukti vs freedom
If you think ‘sab kuchh chod diya’ – giving it all up - is mukti… you are highly mistaken. Mukti is not running away from the world, not does it mean giving up your worldly duties. That is ignorance. Freedom means what you are detached , unaffected by worldly gravities and you live according to your joy, peace, leaving behind all mind calculation, leaving all attachment to results…this is the biggest freedom.
Work is worship
Man is not free. He is stuck in a rat race. Pranam says that you have to perform your worldly duties perfectly as if you are worshipping God and not aspire for results or get attached to results. So you can rest in peace. Freedom does not mean escaping or renouncing. It only means being detached from the results, it means sailing through life with freedom, with all your capacity, tackling each assignment as if were an offering to God – puja.
If you are free, your aura will reflect that…your presence in the room will being smile to people’s face…
Real freedom
Freedom is joy and ananda. You don’t have to struggle or aspire for it.
Human is born to be free, instead he gets stuck in misconceptions, bondages, affectations, mind games
Real freedom is to be free from all gravities, and grow.
God has given you mind and consciousness. God designed you according to designated path to perfection and evolution.
Freedom is going through life with joy and bliss without any hindrance and gravities. It is just sailing through path of life with constant awareness and pure consciousness that leads to true liberation.
Freedom is detachment but with a sense of compassion, concern and care.
Freedom to some means going berserk, playing mind games without any rules, discipline or consciousness. Yes this too is freedom, but kind of freedom leads to fall and denouement. This means being in sleep, guided by ones animal instincts and it does not lead to any transformation or ignorance.
There is no transformation, no beauty, no enlightenment, only tamasic inertia.
There is a slight difference between the two.
Swatantrata vs Swachhandata
Both are freedom. One leads to gratification of senses, no growth, ignorance, darkness and becomes cause of fall. The other leads to growth, joy and bliss.
In English there is only one word for both, while in Hindi, one kind of freedom means swatantrata and the other stands for swachhandata – the accurate opposite of what true freedom is all about.
The West lives with mind power. In swachhandataa, you use your free will to set yourself free like an animal, while in Vedic terms, free will is used to be God – Aham Brahmasmi – leading to transformation and growth.
